This small beginner's bike tour takes you over 22,5 kilometers from the Phoenix West site to the popular Phoenix Lake. You can see the Emscher in front of you, but quickly turn off onto a bike path that initially leads north and later east over a railway line that has been converted into a bike path. In Asseln you reach the turning point of the tour. From here you head west along the route that will soon be converted into the RS 1. In Körne the route meets the Banana Cycle Path, a former railway line that has also been converted into a bike path. It takes you south away from traffic to the Phoenix West site, the starting point of the cycle tour.
