From the main train station in Hamm, the cycle tour leads over the Lippe and the Datteln-Hamm canal to the Radbod colliery. The route takes you over the former coal railway across the site of the former Sachsen colliery to Heessen Castle and through the Lippe meadows back to the Datteln-Hamm canal. The route back to the train station takes you past the spa gardens and the Maximare thermal baths, among other places.
