A glass elephant... Where is that then?

Here you can find the world’s biggest building in an animal shape. It stands in Hamm Maximilianpark, the world’s biggest glass elephant. The former coal washing plant into a glass elephant and today’s symbol of the city of Hamm was redesigned by the artist Horst Rellecke. At night, the elephant lights up with the help of 22,000 LED lights and thus becomes light art. So Maximilianpark offers an eventful tourist destination. Between curved flower beds, play dunes, pirate ships and exotic butterflies, you can let your mind wander and spend a wonderful day. The Maximare – Erlebnis Spa provides yet more relaxation.
