Ruhr Faces

ÜMore than 5 million inhabitants from different cultures and social classes in an area about the size of the island of Mallorca - the Ruhr area is full of stories, especially with regard to football in the region! We want to let the voices behind these stories, which show faces that are as diverse as the Ruhr area itself, have their say! What significance does the Ruhr area have for the people who live here - for you? How is life in the pot? And of course the most important question: What is the significance of football in the Ruhr area in our lives? 

At locations typical of the Ruhr area, we have the film project "Ruhr Faces“ designed and various personalities from the pot asked questions about football in the Ruhr area. The shooting took place in the Niederrhein Stadium in Oberhausen and on the Tippelsberg in Bochum. You can find short excerpts and the presentation of the individual faces of the Ruhr on both Instagram as well on Facebook.
