If you want to get a good overview of the Ruhr area, we recommend you go to the 150-meter-high Tippelsberg near Bochum.
When the weather is nice and the visibility is clear, you can see up to 80 kilometers (!) into the country and back out again. You can even see sunsets from here without any problems. Especially on New Year's Eve or during the fireworks at the Cranger Kirmes, the Tippelsberg turns into a crowd puller.
But it is also worth a visit for short walks and excursions. We say: enjoy!
