Prinz Regent Theater, Bochum

Prince Regent Theater

Off-Theater in PRT-Bochum:

Since its founding in 1991, the Prinzregententheater has had three basic pillars,
from which the values and program of the independent stage arise:
1. Literary and contemporary author theatre
2. Intercultural cooperation (especially with visual arts)
3. Avoiding entertainment at all costs

With this set of three, the stage in the former mine building became
traditional and award-winning off-theater.
Those interested in culture and theatre will certainly already have this gem on their radar.
The stage area offers the 100 spectators a special and familiar atmosphere. We like it!

Since the theatre does not have its own ensemble, the many
Guest performances, various festivals and freelance actors, directors and set designers, a constantly
changing and colorful program.
