Film Forum

Experience something special in the Filmforum of the VHS Kino

The Filmforum in Bottrop is more than just a cinema - it is a place that allows you to experience film art in all its diversity. Not only are current and sophisticated films shown here, but there is also a varied program that will make every cinephile's heart beat faster. Whether it is themed film evenings that combine thrilling silent films with live piano music, or retrospectives on the work of outstanding actors - the Filmforum sets a special tone.

A real highlight is the monthly senior cinema, which is organized in an inviting way for the older generation. The diversity of the program is complemented by readings, discussions and cabaret events, which take place regularly and provide lively variety.

All of these events not only offer entertainment, but also invite you to engage in interactive exchange and network with like-minded people. This creates a space of inspiration that combines the classic cinema experience with the benefits of cultural encounters.
