Since the former Fürst Leopold mine in Dorsten has ceased to be a mine, the Fürst Leopold creative quarter has called the more than 140.000 square meter site its home.
Where coal was once mined, people now feast, chill, celebrate and escape. In addition to the diverse restaurants and cafés, the listed building also houses NRW's largest escape room, the Geheimdepot Dorsten. There are also regular cultural events of all kinds and popular concerts in the old rooms, such as the pay hall or the washhouse. You shouldn't miss out on a leisurely stroll around the spacious grounds. The illuminated mine buildings look pretty nice in the dark!
