Hagen little rusk world

Brandt Zwieback Museum

Brandt's little world of rusks takes crunchy fans of all ages into a diverse world of experiences covering over 200 m², which presents rusks in all their facets. The historical and technical development of rusks comes to life in a fascinating mixture of words, images and interactive elements. The various production phases from the dough to the roasting oven can be impressively retraced here.

The exhibition takes visitors on an exciting journey through the more than 100-year history of the Brandt company. Old acquaintances from advertising smile from the walls, creating a nostalgic connection to the brand. In the "founder's room", which is furnished with lovingly reconstructed original furniture, visitors can experience the everyday office life of Carl Brandt, the company founder.

Exhibits such as old cans, packaging and baking tins as well as all the advertising spots from the brand's history complete the experience. It is also exciting to get an insight into the other business areas of the Brandt Group, which produces chocolate, crispbread and snacks in addition to rusks.

The cozy bistro offers the perfect opportunity to reflect on the impressions you have gathered and relax over a cup of coffee. The crowning glory is a visit to the rusk shop, where a wide range of branded items and rusk creations are available for guests. From trendy branded t-shirts to practical bags - rusk lovers will find everything their heart desires here.
