A real gem in the treasure chest of the Ruhr metropolis is not yet
long-standing and yet indispensable: the Anneliese Brost
music forum.
Here, not only ears but also eyes get their money's worth. Because the
Opened in 2016, the building includes a former church and offers a total of
three impressive rooms or halls that can be used for performances.
In the church just mentioned you can end your evening with lounge beats
.
The small hall is used for readings and by the municipal
music school, while the centerpiece, the large hall, can accommodate over 1.000
audience and is intended for brilliant orchestral evenings.

The name goes back to the publisher Anneliese Brost, whose
Foundation made the creation of the Music Forum possible to a large extent.
