Get to know the Ewald colliery from a very special perspective - this is possible on our guided ascents up the double headframe above shaft VII.
Equipped with a helmet, the tour begins at the foot of the winding tower with one of our guides. After the climb, there's some time to enjoy the view and take photos. Afterwards, the group returns to the starting point.
Please note:
- Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to climb (no discount is available, please select an adult ticket).
- Please wear sturdy shoes (no heels, flip-flops, etc.) and clothing appropriate for the weather.
- The following are excluded from the climb:
People who are physically unable to manage the climb
people with fear of heights
Persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication
- The climb cannot take place in extreme weather conditions (e.g. storm)
- A liability waiver must be signed on site
