Oberwerries Castle Archway House
Nestled in a rural idyll and renaturalized meadows, yet close to the city, the castle offers a uniquely beautiful backdrop for nature lovers and cyclists, for those seeking peace and quiet and sports enthusiasts, for couples in love and newlyweds – and is the ideal starting point for numerous adventure, leisure, and cultural activities. Whatever your preference—whether cycling, canoeing, hiking, running, waterskiing, wakeboarding, cultural events, or theater—everything is possible.
You will stay in one of the five stylish rooms of the listed arched house, which was built as a chapel in the 13th century and recently renovated with great care and high-quality materials. The rooms are furnished with great attention to detail, each with its own character. Inspired by Hamm's twin towns, you can now choose between an oriental flair or the classic English country house style. All rooms have one thing in common: They are simply cozy, feature a private bathroom with shower and toilet, and offer a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside.
As a member of the German Cyclists' Federation (ADFC), we naturally feel a special obligation to cyclists. We offer secure, covered, and free bicycle parking. And the Lippe ferry quickly transports bicycles from one city district to the next.
