The well-maintained Königsmoor campsite is located on the edge of the forest between Waltrop and the canal town of Datteln. Up to 290 permanent campers will find comfortable pitches with water, electricity, and sewage hookups. Two riding stables with modern riding facilities, cycling and hiking trails, and water sports opportunities are nearby. To ensure there's no boredom, regular events in the canteen, a large soccer tournament in the summer, water aerobics, and bingo are offered, among other activities.
