Aunt Emma Cafe

When you step through the front door of the Tante Emma Café, you'll be immersed in great-grandmothers' times and can leave the stresses of everyday life behind. With great attention to detail, the café has created a nostalgic atmosphere that will immediately captivate you. At the same time, it exudes a very special coziness. The aprons of the friendly and smart waitresses fit the picture, as does the period china and the music, which ranges from Heinz Rühmann to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin to classical melodies. Freshly baked rolls and butter croissants are available for breakfast. Various scrambled eggs ensure a great start to the day. The extensive homemade offering remains true to the nostalgic tradition. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, such as potato pancakes with salmon or apple sauce, or fried potatoes with herring in cream sauce, which were already found on the home-style table fifty years ago. The homemade cakes and cookies are freshly prepared every day by our two bakers according to traditional recipes and are definitely worth a treat. Every tea lover will be delighted by the well-stocked tea menu: there's a wide selection of white, green, black, and, of course, fruit teas. Coffee drinkers will also be delighted by the large selection of coffee specialties, all made exclusively with fair-trade organic coffee from Azul. Try the "Aunt Emma Special"! On Sundays, the lovingly prepared breakfast buffet offers everything you need for a leisurely breakfast. From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., you can eat as much as you like!
