The Ruhr region becomes a showcase of international art for six weeks as part of the Ruhrtriennale. The venues range from former power plants to industrial halls, turbine rooms, and coal towers as well as mine dumps, brownfield sites from mining and the steel industry, leading you on an exciting journey into the realm of the arts. The focus of the Ruhrtriennale is on the Bochum Century Hall (Jahrhunderthalle) with its adjacent blast furnace and turbine hall.
