The Juicy Beats Festival whips up the Westfalenpark in Dortmund into a frenzy over two days. You can look forward to a fantastic and varied international line-up of pop, rap, and electro music as well as indie, alternative, reggae, and urban beats.<br/> Juicy Beats is the largest electronic and independent music festival in NRW and is known in particular for its wide-ranging line-ups. There are also loads of smaller acts to discover, from hip-hop and electronic beats to indie-pop and alternative rock as well as urban beats and songwriter-folk music. More than 150 bands and DJs from across the world take part in total. There really is something for everyone. Amongst others, the top acts of this 23rd edition are: 257ers, Kontra K, RIN, Von Wegen Lisbeth, Editors, Drunken Masters, SXTN, and Bukahara.
A varied programme at Juicy Beats
Festival Friday brings you a high-quality live and DJ programme from 1pm to 10.30pm on the three stages for the day: the main stage, the electronic DJ stage, and the stage for local acts. Several dance floors are available to show your moves from 1pm onwards. After the live shows enjoy the after shows in an extremely wide variety of locations.
At Juicy Beats on Saturday, the whole park becomes the venue with over 20 stages and floors between noon and 4am. Practically every conceivable location in the park is used: Whether a fairground or a lake stage, tower restaurant or an open-air chessboard. And if you didn't know where every location is: Every location is assigned to its own fruit, which is mirrored in the signage and decoration.
Wide-ranging support programme in the Westfalenpark
The unusually large supporting programme at Juicy Beats is also not to be underestimated. Designers and artists present themselves and their works on the Kreativ.Meile (Creative.Mile), whilst poetry slammers from the Ruhr region have their own stage and a hip-hop camp provides the necessary jam and graffiti.
Also: Outbound and return journeys (2nd class) by bus or rail across the whole VRR area are included in the ticket price!
