A house without walls? Sounds funny at first and maybe it is. On the Norddeutschland heap in Neukirchen-Vluyn you can discover this work of art called Hallenhaus. But first you have to climb the 359 steps of the Himmelstreppe or walk the serpentine-like walkway around the heap. A great view over the western Ruhr area and the Lower Rhine awaits you at the top!
