Wasserski-Seilbahn Xantener Südsee
The water ski cable-tows in Xanten are a perfect excursion destination for sporty people who would like to try out waterskiing and wakeboarding. The training stretch for beginners is 350m long, and the circular course for advanced sportsmen and women is almost 1000m long, including obstacles.
Even absolute beginners manage the transition from the start ramp to the water after only a few tries. Softly gliding over the water's surface, and the enormous opportunities for movement are simply fascinating. No previous experience is necessary, and all equipment is available onsite.
Oh yes, one more thing: The facility does less business when the weather is overcast, so there is more time to practise and enjoy. Favourite events include courses during the holidays or for school classes that want to go on a class outing with sport and action in the Ruhr Area.

Xanten
Xanten is a lovely small town on the Lower Rhine. During the summer the streets and lanes are crowded with numerous aficionados. Despite this everybody carries on the good old-fashioned way and the general speed is slow and gentle.
