Sonsbeck

The town of Sonsbeck in the district of Wesel lies in the West of the Ruhr Area and is one of the smallest towns in the Metropolis Ruhr. The fact that Sonsbeck provides a good destination for a short trip or weekend break is revealed by the town's slogan: "Live in Sonsbeck - where others seek rest and relaxation".

 

The wonderful nature in Sonsbeck and historic buildings make the town a popular excursion destination. The places of interest include the Magdalene church of the Catholic parish in Sonsbeck, the Gommansche mill and the look-out over Dürsberg.
