Having gone from a pump station to a cultural centre, the Rohrmeisterei (pipe making plant) in Schwerte is the setting for cultural events such as theatre, concerts and exhibitions.


It has an adjoining restaurant, equally popular both with local residents and visitors. As an excursion destination, the Rohrmeisterei has even more to offer. Schwerte's traditional mustard mill has found a new home in a building adjacent to the cultural centre. Here you can take part in a guided tour and try the products.
