Get an easy insight into the cultural variety, enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Ruhr Valley and explore fascinating museums like the world biggest walk-in Camera Obscura with the Museum Prehistory of Film and the Aquarius Water Museum. Real fun is the fantastic rowing-adventure on the Ruhr for groups up to 14 persons. Our original-rebuilt rustic Viking-boat called “MüWi” guarantees a lively trip with lots of fun, action and beautiful landscapes from Essen to Mülheim – accompanied by a qualified boatman.

Friday: arrival – check-in with a welcoming-drink – visit of the Camera Obscura –Museum Prehistory of Film – short guided city-walk
Saturday: breakfast – takeover of the rented bikes at Mülheim’s main station – journey by “S-Bahn” to Hattingen – visit of the picturesque old-town possible – day-long cycle tour back to Mülheim (about 50 km) – refreshing menu at “Franky’s im Wasserbahnhof” (River Station)
Sunday: breakfast – cycling to the estuary in Duisburg – visit Aquarius Water Museum – return of bikes at Mülheim main station in the afternoon (about 25 km)
