Although the town of Kamp-Lintfort is just 50 years old there is still lots to see. A particular highlight is Kamp Abbey.

Kamp Abbey was founded in the 12th century and especially for its beautiful gardens is a key excursion destination in the western Ruhr Area. The museum in Kamp Abbey describes the lifestyle of the monks in the abbey and the history of the Order of Cistercians.
