10 years of ExtraSchicht!

The Night of Industrial Culture is celebrating its tenth birthday on June 19, 2010. As the Capital of Culture summer festival, it is inviting culture fans from all over Europe to a series of unforgettable experiences. From 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. approximately 40 locations all across the metropolis Ruhr will be showcased. Former steelworks, production facilities and collieries will form the backdrop for street theatre, music, art, dance and light shows. The Ruhr region will light up and celebrate - and allow the Capital of Culture to be experienced in a unique way.

Get ready with a typical Ruhr dinner at the brewery Ärwin´s Brauhaus, with music and a 10 l keg of local "Grubengold" beer.
