Gevelsberg

Gevelsberg is located in the Ennepe-Ruhr district on the southern edge of the Ruhr Area, and offers great leisure options with large green areas. The area is thus an ideal hiking region for a short holiday.

 
And Gevelsberg is not only interesting as a hiking destination in the Ruhr Area. It also has the Erholungspark Stefansbachtal (Stefansbachtal recreation park), leisure facilities such as the indoor go-carting track, and the 'Schwimm' leisure pool in Gevelsberg.

It is also worthwhile visiting the exclusive annual events such as the international guitar festival. The Christmas market over the second weekend of advent and the "Fountain Festival" are also traditional.
