Strandbad Wedau / Wasserski Seilbahn

For water ski and wakeboarding action, the waterskiing facilities at the Wedau beach bathing area in Duisburg are one of the best places to go in the Ruhr Area.

 

A worthwhile excursion destination both for beginners and for advanced water sports enthusiasts. Anyone can effortlessly learn to wakeboard or water ski in a very short time.

All the equipment can be hired onsite. We recommend starting with water skis, and if you can do it, have a go at wakeboarding. After the sport and action, you can relax at the Wedau beach bathing area. A bar and barbecue ensure you are catered for.

And anyone who still has enough energy after that can let off some more steam playing volleyball or mini golf. Here is a tip: when the weather is overcast, there are fewer visitors at the water skiing facilities, which will still be open. That way you can enjoy more time on the water without having to wait around for a long time.
