Located in the cellar vaults of Unna's Linden brewery is the Zentrum für Internationale Lichtkunst (Centre for International Light Art). Narrow corridors and huge halls display with a morbid charm a fascinating atmosphere of decline and history – an ideal location for modern light installations by international light artists such as James Turrel, Mischa Kuball and Mario Merz.

The town centre of Unna, with its numerous pretty cafés and restaurants, will entice you for a stroll through the old town.

Linden brewery - Center for internatinal art of light

The Zentrum für Internationale Lichtkunst (Centre for International Light Art) in Unna is one of the most exciting museums in the Ruhr Area. It is the first and only museum in the world that is exclusively dedicated to light art.
