Sea Life Adventure Park

Located on the premises of CentrO Oberhausen the SEA LIFE aquarium impresses with a fascinating underwater world and is one of the most popular excursion destinations in the Ruhr area.

In summer 2010 Paul the octopus from the SEA LIFE Oberhausen became probably the most famous octopus in the world after correctly predicting the winners of all Germany's football matches and the final of the World Cup in South Africa.

The other 20,000 sea dwellers in the 50 large aquariums make a visit to SEA LIFE a true underwater adventure. When a family outing in the Ruhr area leads to the fascinating underwater world of SEA LIFE, children are guaranteed to be delighted.

Another visitor magnet of the SEA LIFE Oberhausen is the turtle reef. A tunnel made from acrylic glass runs through the ocean basin that holds 1.5 million litres of water and enables the visitors to experience at first hand how green marine turtles, sharks, and rays majestically swim laps immediately above your head. The glass-bottomed boat offers visitors an unforgettable trip across the tropical ocean! Immerse yourselves in the secret and colourful world of the tropical seas.
