Grafschafter Museum at Moers castle

The former water castle of the Earls of Moers is located in the historical old town right at the entrance to the castle park. The Moerser Schloss is one of the oldest preserved late-Middle Age ring forts in the Rhineland making it a monument of national significance.

Since 1908, the castle has been home to the Grafschafter Museum. It presents the history of the county, the castle and its inhabitants, the cultural history of the Lower Rhine and alternating special exhibitions with educational museum items.
