Wein-Freilicht-Museum

On a vineyard in Hamminkeln in the north of the Ruhr metropolis there is an open-air wine museum that few would expect to find here. A real insiders' tip for your cultural trip in the Ruhr Area.

In the museum, which covers 4,000 m², you can marvel at ancient wine-farming equipment, vineyard pergolas, rock formations, oaken wine barrels, and a Mediterranean wine garden. Popular events include the wine experience seminars with wine-tasting and typical wine dishes, which are available on request for groups of 12 or more persons.
