Kulturhafen RUHR
Water worlds with Mediterranean flair and Roman history
Let's approach the Ruhr metropolis by waterway and drop anchor in Duisburg. The largest inland port in Europe not only served as the imposing backdrop for many German "Tator" crime series, but still radiates to this day an international flair with its gigantic trans-shipment centres and ships from all over the globe. Duisburg's "Innenhafen" is far less rugged and yet no less cosmopolitan- an urban germ with culture, charm and esprit.
