Skiing in the Ruhr Area: the indoor ski slope in Bottrop alpine centre, at 640 metres long and 30 metres wide, is the longest covered piste in the world. Throughout the year the indoor ski slope on a slagheap offers the opportunity to ski, snowboard and have an après ski experience.

 

The Bottrop alpine centre was founded by the multiple skiing world champion Marc Giradelli; it is also gaining popularity far beyond the borders of the Ruhr Area.

The winding ski piste with an incline of up to 24% provides fun for the whole family. Whether beginner or advanced, skier or snowboarder, every winter sports fan gets their money's worth.

Skiing and snowboarding courses for children and adults, novices and professionals are held in which skilled instructors provide tips for a good start to the winter season. Equipment can be rented on site.

Sport and Entertainment

To complete the ski experience in the middle of the Ruhr Area you can celebrate with an après ski experience. Of particular interest and unique in its offering is the all-inclusive offer which leaves visitors with nothing to worry about. Food, rental and use of the piste are already included in the price! The snow sport is always popular in the alpine centre. Action and fun are also guaranteed in the paintball complex,  in the high wire climbing park, in the indoor skydiving centre and on the summer toboggan run.
