Bike Hire at metropolradruhr

By 2012 a total of 3,000 bicycles will be available for hire at many locations in the Ruhr area. They can be hired around the clock for any period of time. A one-off registration is required and then rehiring can be booked by telephone.

There are stations in Bochum, Bottrop, Dortmund, Duisburg, Essen, Gelsenkirchen, Hamm, Herne, Mülheim an der Ruhr, and Oberhausen. Prices start at 1 euro an hour. An overview of all cities and details on the reservation can be found on the website of metropolradruhr.
